AFFLINK Announces the Retirement of Rhonda West After Decades of Industry Excellence

TUSCALOOSA, AL — [July 1, 2025] – AFFLINK announces the upcoming retirement of Rhonda West, Senior Director of Non-Foods Procurement, effective July 25. Rhonda’s retirement marks the close of an extraordinary career spanning over 40 years in retail, consumer goods, and foodservice.

After earning her Bachelor of Science in Education from Western Illinois University, Rhonda began her career at Kmart Corporate in Detroit, where she served as a Category Manager for 16 years. She went on to hold key roles at Clorox and US Foods before joining PFS in Richmond, Virginia as a Category Manager and became an integral part of the PFG family.

Following a strategic restructuring in 2018, she relocated to Tuscaloosa to support the Non-Foods Procurement team as Director. Her impact was immediate and far-reaching, culminating in her promotion to Senior Director of Non-Foods Procurement at AFFLINK.1562889331341-1

Her exceptional supplier partnerships and operational company relationships have played a vital role in the organization’s continued growth and success.

“Rhonda’s professionalism, insight, and expertise have helped shaped the fabric of AFFLINK,” said Michael Wilson, President and CEO of AFFLINK. “She’s not only helped guide our procurement strategy—she’s mentored others, led with integrity, and built lasting relationships that will benefit the company well into the future.”

To support a seamless transition, Rhonda will be collaborating closely with the procurement team over the coming weeks—sharing her knowledge and insights to help ensure continued momentum and growth within this essential business unit.

Rhonda plans to return to the Richmond, Virginia area to begin her retirement. While she will be greatly missed, her legacy will remain a part of AFFLINK’s foundation for years to come.

“We are grateful for her leadership and wish her all the best as she enters this well-deserved next chapter,” said Chip Shields, CFO and COO of AFFLINK.

Please join us in celebrating Rhonda and thanking her for her years of outstanding service.
