AFFLINK Adds Resources to Support Growing Packaging Business

Tuscaloosa, AL – August 4, 2025 –  Coming on the heels of Denise Hargrave’s retirement announced last week after 35 years at AFFLINK, including the last eight solely supporting the Packaging business, we are taking this opportunity to realign our focus on the Packaging channel, adding resources both internally and in the field to help support our continued success in this market.

“Packaging is a growth engine for us,” says Michael Wilson, AFFLINK President & CEO. “As we expand our footprint in this strategic channel of distribution, we have to continue to resource it appropriately in order to support that growth — now and into the future. These moves serve as an exclamation point to that approach.”

Expanded Field Support:

Effective August 1, 2025, Dana Duckworth will assume the role of Sr. Director of National Sales & Packaging, continuing her pursuit of gaining new Strategic Account business for our Members and Suppliers out in the field, but with an expanded focus on the industrial Packaging marketplace. Leading with our Packaging offering in nearly all non-GPO Strategic Accounts today, Dana has become acutely familiar with many of the key Members and Suppliers in the Packaging family who support our existing book of end-user business – including all PFG indirect spend projects that, again, primarily center around our packaging supply solutions.

In addition to generating more demand at the end-user level, Dana will now assume accountability for all Packaging-related Member growth and alignment, serving as the field point of contact for many of our Packaging Members. Reporting directly to David Lewis, AFFLINK’s VP of Packaging, she will also assist in Supplier relations, industry events, market development and a variety of other Packaging initiatives that will serve to maximize their AFFLINK partnerships.

With this change, Dana will resign her role as the AFFLINK executive representative for the Facilities Maintenance Advisory Council (FMAC) and will join the Packaging Advisory Council along with Dave. Taking the baton from Dana, Vince June will now serve as the FMAC lead, along with Ron Wright and Alicia Bobo who will take the reins on all projects currently in process within that Council.

Focused Internal Support:

Also effective August 1st, Daniel Brown, Internal Member Support (IMS) representative, will now have segment responsibility covering the vast majority of our Packaging Members for any day-to-day AFFLINK updates and activities – assisting Dana and Dave’s efforts out in the field.

Throughout his tenure as an IMS, Daniel has built relationships with many AFFLINK Members over the past three years; however, having him strategically focused on the Packaging Members will provide greater consistency, Supplier connectivity and improved through-line communications – all producing better outcomes for our customers. Daniel will continue to report directly to Alicia Bobo, Sr. Manager of Internal Member Support.
